## General Principles of Natural Leather Care
Our products are crafted from high-quality natural leather that, with proper care, will serve you for many years. Leather is a living material that requires gentle treatment and regular maintenance.
### Basic Rules:
- Avoid exposure to water and moisture
- Protect from direct sunlight
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place
- Do not use aggressive chemical products
- Regularly clean and nourish the leather
## Care for Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Vegetable-tanned leather is a premium material processed with natural tannins. This leather is distinguished by its exceptional durability and ability to develop a beautiful patina over time.
### Care Specifics:
**Initial Treatment:**
- New items should be treated with colorless leather cream or wax
- Apply a thin layer using a soft cloth
- Allow to absorb for 15-20 minutes
- Polish with a dry cloth
**Regular Care:**
- Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth
- Every 2-3 months, apply special oil or cream for vegetable-tanned leather
- Use only quality products without silicone and artificial additives
- After applying treatment, let the leather "rest" for 24 hours
**Important:** Vegetable-tanned leather naturally darkens over time and develops a beautiful patina. This is a normal process that gives the item individual character.
## Care for Crazy Horse Leather
Crazy Horse leather is a special type of leather with wax impregnation that gives the material its characteristic vintage appearance and unique wear marks.
### Care Specifics:
**Daily Use:**
- Crazy Horse leather requires minimal care
- Natural scuffs and scratches are part of the design
- Light scratches can be "healed" by rubbing with your finger — the wax will fill the damage
**Deep Cleaning (every 6 months):**
- Clean the surface with a dry soft cloth
- If necessary, use a special cleaner for waxed leather
- Apply leather wax in a thin layer
- Distribute evenly with a soft cloth
- Allow to absorb for one hour
- Polish to desired shine
**Restoration:**
- For heavy wear, use special Crazy Horse leather wax
- Apply wax to a clean surface
- Warm with a hair dryer on minimum heat for better absorption
- Polish with a soft cloth
## Stain Removal
### Water Stains:
- Blot moisture with a dry cloth
- Allow to dry naturally
- Apply leather conditioner if necessary
### Grease Stains:
- Sprinkle with talcum powder or cornstarch
- Leave for several hours to absorb the grease
- Remove powder with a soft brush
- Repeat if necessary
### Difficult Stains:
- Consult a leather cleaning specialist
- Do not use solvents or aggressive products
## Storage
- Store items in fabric bags or boxes
- Avoid plastic bags — leather needs to "breathe"
- Maintain the item's shape using stuffing (paper, fabric)
- Store in a dry place at room temperature
- Avoid sudden temperature and humidity changes
## Recommended Care Products
